Days of Significance - Monthly Video Series

To better engage our families and community, we are updating our approach to recognizing Days of Significance on social media. In the past, the Communications team has posted individually about each observance on our Days of Significance Calendar (including Religious/Spiritual High Holidays).

Starting in January 2025, we shifted to creating a monthly video that highlights all the significant days, weeks, and months we’re observing and sharing on social media.

Board Meeting Highlights - December 10, 2024

Key updates included new Pathways initiatives, such as trade workshops and the Electrical for Women course. Director Graham Shantz thanked staff for their efforts during recent snowstorms, particularly custodial teams. Student Trustee Alexandra Haviaras provided an update on mental health initiatives and a new survey project. Chair Michael Bannerman extended holiday thanks to staff and the community. Lastly, Superintendent Cheri Carter announced the recruitment for the North Perth Boundary Review Committee, with the first meeting in January 2025.
