Primary Prep Coverage & FSL Teacher - South Perth Centennial PS (1.0, Permanent Contract)

The Avon Maitland District School Board is accepting applications for the following permanent contract teaching assignment:

School: South Perth CPS
FTE: 1.0
Assignment: Primary Prep Coverage (0.50) & French as a Second Language (0.50)
Effective: Immediately (deadline to apply is Monday, September 9, 2024)

Required Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or have their transitional certificate from the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Must hold the required divisional qualifications, as noted above, to be eligible for this position;
  • Demonstrated experience in the assigned duties of a teacher as outlined in Regulation 298: Operation of Schools;
  • Proven ability to maintain discipline in the classroom (classroom management);
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment;
  • Experience working with G-Suite (Gmail, Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) products;
