As previously announced, the AMDSB Centre for Employment & Learning is no longer providing employment services - see full media release for details. As a result of this change, a new name was chosen and along with it, a new logo and fresh look.
The newly renamed Centre for Education & Learning (CEL) has a new logo (see below) and a new website location: amdsb.ca/CEL. Jane Morris, Superintendent of Education says: “We are thrilled to continue offering our valuable learning programs for youth and adults. These programs provide support for our current students and for those in our community looking for learning opportunities outside of the grade K to 12 system.”
All of the learning services will continue to be provided and include:
- English as a Second Language
- High School Credit Programs
- Personal Support Worker Program
- Skills Upgrading (in person and online via the LearningHUB)
- xCEL Learning Support for students and parents of children in grades K to 12
- Youth programs (Reach for Success)
As part of this transition, the CEL physical locations are also moving and hours of operations are shifting. Please see amdsb.ca/CEL for full details. We encourage anyone who is seeking more information about adult and continuing education opportunities to reach out through contact information provided in the new website.
